Update: Real Estate Theme deCasa 0.9.8 available

Today I’m publishing the new version 0.9.8 of my real estate WordPress theme deCasa. Apart from WordPress 3.0 custom menus I added some new features many of you have been asking for.

Properties Slider

Many of you have been asking for a similar featured properties slider like in deCondo. So I decided to add this option to deCasa as well. You can now choose to display a static image and text or to slide through your featured objects in the home page header.

Custom Menus

You can now manage your deCasa menu by dragging and dropping your preferred menu items in the order you like with the new WordPress 3.0 custom menus feature. You can control the main menu as well as the top menu (currently RSS & login links).

Google Maps

I also improved the way Google Maps are included. On the theme options page you can now control the zoom level as well as the type (map, hybrid or satellite) of the maps. On the post edit screen you will be able to center your map or by the provided address, a geocode (latitude, longitude) or enter the embed code of your custom Google Map.
