Update: Portfolio Theme deGusto 0.9.5 available

The new version 0.9.5 of my portfolio WordPress theme deGusto ist now available! It comes with some new interesting features. Check out the Changelog for more details.

The newest version of deGusto is far better than previous ones. In addition to some layout and code improvements I added the following features. Check them out!

Button Color
You can now choose your preferred color for the buttons through the theme options page. Choose between red, blue and green.

Background Image
I decided to use a bigger background image. deGusto now looks a lot nicer on wider screens.

Dropdown Menu
Some of the deGusto users asked for a dropdown menu. Here you are! I added a neat Superfish dropdown menu for categories and pages.

Menu Control
Apart from the dropdown menu I also added more options to control the menu items. You can hide the home link and exclude any category or page item.

Slider Control
I also decided to give the user more control over the featured content slider on the home page. Besides the options to choose the category and item number you can now decide to enable auto slide and how many seconds you want the slider to pause.

Social Networks
Due to another user request I added more social network icons to the footer. You can now add links for RSS, Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, LastFM, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Digg, Mister Wong or Technorati.
