ThemeShift.com gets a little Makeover
Once again it was time to work on a little redesign of ThemeShift.com. Yesterday I published a makeover of the entire site with some freshness. The most important things happened under the hood though.
I decided to rethink the ThemeShift website to present my themes in a better-organized way, to be more flexible in the blog section and create a ThemeShift Help Center where I explain in detailed tutorials how to get started with a theme.
A lot of things also happened under the hood. The site is now running WordPress 3.0 and with respect to website performance I switched to the W3 Total Cache plugin to speed things up a little.
1. Theme Presentation
I tidied up the theme features list and added a sidebar with the most important information and some useful links.
2. Blog Section
The new ThemeShift blog section is more flexible and dynamic than the old one. In the future I will not only post ThemeShift-related but also general WordPress stuff in this section.
3. Theme Documentation
The new ThemeShift Help Center will include tutorials on how to get started with a theme. I’m currently working on this. You will find a direct link to the help section on the ThemeShift theme options page.

Hey,
Love the look of your site, and some of your themes.
I also love your forum integration. Really nice work. Is that integrated into WordPress?
I’d love to see more premium themes with integrated forums styled for the most popular/suitable themes as an additional add-on.
Ever thought about that?

Hey Armen,
thanks for your comments! The forums is based on PunBB. When I first built this site bbPress was missing too much features. And yes, sure I thought about offering bbPress themes as well. But at the moment I just don’t have the time to really get into bbPress code
