ThemeShift Themes Updates
The three ThemeShift themes that are available so far are now updated to version 0.9.1. The first maintenance release fixes some minor bugs and include a workaround for the get_categories bug of WordPress 2.8.
The get_categories Bug
The themes deGusto and deCasa use select input fields on the theme options page to let the user pick featured categories etc. Unfortuneately WordPress 2.8 was published with a little bug regarding the function get_categories(). So the select dropdowns were just blank and the user was not able to set necessary options. This bug is already fixed in WordPress 2.8.1 (currently available as Nightly Build).
Anyway the themes include a workaround for that bug now to make it work in WordPress 2.8.
Styles for WP-PageNavi
I also noticed that the latest version of the WP-PageNavi plugin now uses another action hook (wp_print_styles) to insert the default stylesheet into the header of a theme. Since all of my themes have customized styles for this plugin I needed to remove both the new and the old action hook.
Other
A deGusto user also reported a minor layout bug in IE8 where the footer collapsed with the content without any margin. Everything is fine now

Hi Phillip,
I’m very happy that you like the layout! But at the moment it is not available as a theme. Maybe it will in the future when I decide to redesign again
